The Shining Company was founded in January 2024 with one simple goal — to bring high-quality, traditional window cleaning back to homes and businesses across Perth and Perthshire.
While many window cleaners now rely solely on Water Fed Pole systems for speed, we believe nothing matches the finish of a proper traditional clean. That’s why our motto is “Window Cleaning the Old Fashioned Way” — giving you crystal-clear results with care, attention and craftsmanship.
Of course, every property is different, so we still use the Water Fed Pole method where it makes sense: for hard-to-reach windows, during light rain, or when a lower-cost clean is preferred. But our emphasis will always be on delivering the highest standard possible using traditional techniques.

- Windows: Every 4-8 weeks for optimal results
- Gutters: At least twice a year (Spring and Autumn)
- Pressure washing: Once or twice a year, depending on usage
- Fascias & soffits:annually or when dirt or algae is visible
- Roof cleaning: Every 2-3 years, or when moss buildup becomes visible

In most cases, you don't need to be home. For exterior cleaning services like window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and pressure washing, we can typically work without access to your property's interior.
